On April 17, 2009, at just 16 years old, Thibaut Courtois made his professional debut with Club Brugge. After an impressive run of 698 matches, the goalkeeper is on the cusp of reaching the monumental mark of 700 appearances, with a potential opportunity to achieve this feat in the upcoming UEFA Champions League match between Real Madrid vs AEK Athens.
Moreover, during the recent match against Santander CF, Courtois celebrated his 500th appearance in La Liga, marking his 346th game for Real Madrid. This milestone places him second on the club's all-time goalkeeper appearances list, trailing only behind Casillas and Bono.
