The decision remains undecided whether this appointment will be converted into a permanent role or serve merely as an interim measure. The 34-year-old scout has garnered widespread praise and has cultivated an exceptionally impressive network of contacts over the past few years. He joined Bayern Munich as a scout in December 2024 and subsequently rose to the position of Head Scout under Schmidtke's mentorship.
