Montgomery commented, "To begin with, it's a fantastic outcome for us. We are all well aware of the challenges presented by this match, including the high humidity and the grueling flight we endured. Our opponents boast a strong lineup of exceptional foreign players, each with remarkable individual skills. Both teams held a 50% possession rate, and there were moments in the first half where either side could have turned the tide, but we showcased our self-assurance. I am proud of everyone involved, especially considering our key players Spagic and Zhang Yuning are still in Beijing. We are currently engaged in a three-front battle, and despite the arduous process, the result is gratifying. Thank you to all our supporters, as we have heard your voices. There's another crucial Super League match this weekend, and we will focus on our recovery. Fabio's goal was a masterpiece, and his performance as a substitute was outstanding. I am proud of all the players."
