In the 2016-17 campaign, it wasn't until the 34th round against Valencia that he snapped his goal drought. Fast forward to the 2024-25 season, and he didn't score until the 10th round versus Girona. However, in his other top-flight league seasons, he found the back of the net much sooner: during the 2017-18 season, he scored in the very first round against Celta Vigo.
During the 2022-23 campaign, a crucial strike in the third round's home match against Bilbao Athletic marked his presence. In the 2023-24 season, his scoring prowess was on display again during the sixth round's encounter at home versus Hetafe. Furthermore, in the 2025-26 season, he once more etched his name in the annals of the game with a goal in the fourth round's home clash against Real Madrid.
